High Desert Harmony Chorus ushered in the holiday season in grand style on Sat., Dec. 7, 2024 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center with its signature beautiful harmonies, along with festive costumes highlighting the many facets of the holiday season. With more than 300 people in attendance, members introduced each song from a super=sized holiday postcard, with fascinating tidbits about the songs' origins as well as what makes the music and the season so special to each of us.
More than 30 ladies from the community (the youngest was 5!) joined HDH's holiday guest chorus this year, singing the three final songs on the program Reno's McQueen High School "Gig Group" joined the show singing several holiday classics, and three quartets rounded out this year's show -- Double Down, Serafina and Ransom Notes.
Our sincere thanks go to the Nevada Arts Council for sponsoring this presentation. We also thank our several sponsors, advertisers and our many friends for their ongoing support.
